Peter Ghitman is the founder and principal of Peter Ghitman & Associates (PGA Legal). He has conducted numerous partner and other high-level searches on behalf of major law firms and hedge funds since 1996, after having worked as a corporate lawyer in NYC law firms for twelve years. For several years during his legal career, he served as his law firm’s hiring attorney for associates, and successfully recruited a number of associates who are now partners in major law firms.Mr. Ghitman is a 1977 graduate of Colgate University (Philosophy) and received his J.D. in 1984 from The University of Pennsylvania School of Law. He started his legal career as a corporate associate at Kaye Scholer, after which he joined a Skadden spin-off that specialized in inbound M&A and Securities work for major Australian clients. That firm subsequently became the New York office of Andrews & Kurth. For one year prior to becoming a recruiter, Mr. Ghitman worked in the New York office of a well-known French law firm, Bureau Francis Lebfevre.

Daniel Graham is a principal and senior recruiter at Peter Ghitman and Associates and devotes most of his time to recruiting and placing associates, counsels and junior partners. He is also involved in developing search strategies and improving business productivity for the firm. Previously, Daniel worked as a neurorehabilitation specialist in a hospital unit owned by a Fortune 500 healthcare company and as a high-end personal trainer in NYC. Daniel received a BA in Psychology from the College of Arts and Sciences at NYU, graduating cum laude in 2005. He has interests in music, film and business psychology.

Nancy Gibbs is a junior recruiter at Peter Ghitman & Associates. She makes recruiting calls on the various searches for which the firm is retained. Nancy received a BA in English Literature from Douglass College and an MEd from NYU. Prior to joining our firm, she worked as a teacher in the New Rochelle school system.
Andrew Douglas is a junior recruiter at Peter Ghitman & Associates. He makes recruiting calls on the various searches for which the firm is retained. Andrew received his BA in Political Science from Rutgers University.
Katy Becko is the Operations Manager and a Junior Recruiter for Peter Ghitman & Associates. She performs PGA Legal’s administrative and technical duties as well as provide recruiting support. Prior to joining Peter Ghitman & Associates, Ms. Becko worked in the legal recruiting industry for two years after studying history and human rights at Columbia University. She plans to attend law school in the future and subsequently practice or continue her legal studies abroad. She also writes short fiction and fervently follows the New York Yankees.Katy D. Becko
